The first ticket has been bought

And that would be mine, Crumpet's. Expensive little bugger, and I have learned an important lesson from this (one that I would share except that it is so incredibly annoying).

Anyway, I promised to update when it happened, and technically I got it on Friday, but I have been remarkably busy over the weekend. I just have to wait for my stuff to come in, and give Tea a copy so that when she goes to get her ticket she can inform them exactly which flights she wants.

Oh, and I bought a nice shirt today that I will take to London, but it wasn't purchased FOR London. You'll see it in a picture eventually.

Good night for now!

Happy holidays and best wishes for a happy New Year to our readers!

Winter Quarter has officially started for us now, and while we're carefully wading through our first few days, we're also excitedly planning for London.

By the end of this week, I should have my ticket booked, and Tea plans on getting hers soon too. After that, we'll be spending most of our time simply getting through our current classes. We'll have two orientations, one at the end of January and one at the beginning of March. The March one is likely going to get things really rolling - after that, we'll only have two weeks left to pack, and believe me, I am a VERY early packer. Anything I can have packed from that point on will most certainly be in my bag.

There may very well be some shopping between now and when we start packing - I bought my first pair of rain boots the evening I found out I was accepted, but didn't find that info to be terribly interesting for you all.

Oh! Good news in  the picture department - the boyfriend, lovely man that he is, got me a terribly expensive camera to help me capture our exploits. It's filled with about a billion different abilities, including that new panorama capability, so there should be some pretty awesome shots once we get there (and some mediocre ones from the trip over. I don't think I can go on a plane and not take a picture of the mountains/lakes/oceans/rivers/clouds we pass over, though I'll refrain from putting many of those up).

Thank you for sticking with us, you lovely darlings (I've been watching our page numbers heading up and up - bless your hearts for still looking to see if we've posted anything), and we will post again just as soon as one of us has something of importance to tell you all!
